The M1A1 SA ( Situational Awareness ) is an upgraded M1A1, featuring Forward-Looking InfraRed ( FLIR ) and Far Target Locate sensors, a tank-infantry phone, enhanced communications gear such as FBCB2 and Blue Force Tracking, and a new third-generation depleted uranium armor components.
